HISTORIC FIRST: .22 RIMFIRE PRS/IPRF COMPETITION

The first official .22 Rimfire PRS/IPRF competition has successfully launched in Namibia! Hosted by Okahandja Shooters Club (OSC), this groundbreaking event marks the beginning of a seven-match series that will run throughout 2026, bringing precision rifle competition to a new generation of shooters.

Event Highlights

Competition Format: 10 stages of precision shooting with 105-second stage times, testing shooters across various distances and positions.

Two-Class Structure: To grow the sport, organizers created two divisions:

• IPRF Class - For serious competitors shooting 80 rounds
• Weekend Warrior Class - For new and recreational shooters, shooting 60 rounds

Leading the Way

This competition is another first for Okahandja Shooters Club under the leadership of Tobie Barlow. Growing sport shooting in Namibia with a world-class range is the club's passion. OSC is committed to investing in the development of sport shooting from Junior to Senior levels, creating opportunities for shooters of all ages and skill levels to participate and excel.
